It is that time of year again. This Sunday, March 13, we spring ahead one hour. At 2am it we officially kick into Daylight Saving Time. So, don't forget to set your clocks ahead before you go to bed. It is also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

Most people love Day Light Saving Time. Even if it means losing an hour of sleep. It stays light longer, which makes the days feel longer.  And it is a sign that spring and summer are just around the corner. I used to feel that way, too. Not as much now that I get up at 4:30am.  It's not the getting up early, it's the going to bed early. It's hard to do when it's still light out.

Okay, now I'm going to stop feeling sorry for myself and try to embrace the whole Daylight Saving Time thing. Warm weather, fun summer days and evenings, and vacations. And ice cream. I guess it's not so bad after all.
