Dutchess Man Charged with Stealing From Animal Hospital
A Dutchess County man remains behind bars after police say he stole from a local animal hospital.
Anthony A. Quatroni, 50, of Pawling was charged with 3rd-degree burglary, a class D felony.
Deputies from Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office responded to alarm going off at the Patter Paws Animal Hospital on Route 22 in Pawling late Wednesday evening. Police say during their investigation it was determined a burglary had occurred.
Quatroni was located by authorities near the hospital. A further investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Patrol and Detective Divisions led to him being charged in connection with the burglary.
No further details are being released at this time in order to preserve the integrity of upcoming court proceedings, officials say.
Quatroni was arraigned before the Town of Pawling Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
The investigation is continuing and further charges are possible.
