Bridge and Tower Music Tonight at The Falcon
Maybe the name Joseph Bertolozzi rings a bell. The man behind the name has rung much more than just a bell. He has created music around both the Mid Hudson Bridge in Poughkeepsie and The Eiffel Tower in Paris. And you can hear the fascinating story behind this music tonight.
Tonight Joseph Bertolozzi will bring that music to The Falcon, Route 9W in Marlboro. Doors, bar, and restaurant opens at 5:30 and the music begins at 7pm. There is no cover, but donations are encouraged. In this multi-media presentation Bertolozzi describes how he used only raw, unprocessed audio samples from these monuments, to reveal their voices, translating the bangs and clanks of their metal structures into vigorous, rhythmic music without the use of studio effects or standard musical instruments.
