Five people were arrested in an investigation into prostitution in the Hudson Valley.

On Thursday the Orange County Drug Task Force and the Town of Wallkill Police Department conducted a joint prostitution investigation in the Town of Wallkill.

Two women are accused of prostitution, three men allegedly patronized a prostitute. One of the men is also accused of being in possession of marijuana.

John Liporace,56, and 23-year-old Gene Vivaldo, both of Middletown, were all charged with patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor. Vivaldo also received a violation for unlawful possession of marijuana.

Charges against a third man were later dismissed, court documents show.

All three were released with an appearance ticket and are scheduled to appear in the Town of Wallkill Court on a future date.

Yondo Nyadjroh, 26, of New Rochelle and 22-year-old Benja Rosario of New York City, were both charged with prostitution, a misdemeanor.
