5 Arrested In Hudson Valley Prostitution Sting

Update: This article was updated on Sept. 26, 2018 to remove the name and image of one of the individuals arrested. A charge against the man was dismissed and the record sealed, according to court documentation presented to Hudson Valley Post.

Five people were arrested in an investigation into prostitution in the Hudson Valley.

On Thursday the Orange County Drug Task Force and the Town of Wallkill Police Department conducted a joint prostitution investigation in the Town of Wallkill.

Two women are accused of prostitution, three men allegedly patronized a prostitute. One of the men is also accused of being in possession of marijuana.

John Liporace,56, and 23-year-old Gene Vivaldo, both of Middletown, were all charged with patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor. Vivaldo also received a violation for unlawful possession of marijuana.

Charges against a third man were later dismissed, court documents show.

All three were released with an appearance ticket and are scheduled to appear in the Town of Wallkill Court on a future date.

Yondo Nyadjroh, 26, of New Rochelle and 22-year-old Benja Rosario of New York City, were both charged with prostitution, a misdemeanor.

Eight were arrested last week in two prostitution stings in Ulster County.
