We had the opportunity to speak with Skid Row guitarist and founder Dave 'Snake' Sabo this past Thursday afternoon on WPDH. We talked all things Skid Row including the fact that the band is celebrating their 25th anniversary with a tour that rolls into Poughkeepsie this Saturday night Nov. 7 at The Chance.

Skid Row formed out of Toms River, NJ back in 1986. The band was very successful during the late 80’s and early 90’s. The band released their debut album in 1989 and the album went multi-platinum with hit singles ’18 and Life’, ‘I Remember You’, and ‘Youth Gone Wild’. The band went in a heavier direction for their second album, the double-platinum #1 release ‘Slave to The Grind’. Skid Row has sold 20 million records worldwide.

The classic band lineup featured Sebastian Bach (vocals), Rachel Bolan (bass), Dave ‘Snake’ Sabo (guitar), Scotti Hill (guitar), and Rob Affuso (drums). The band’s current lineup in 2015 consists of Sabo, Bolan, and Hill with Rob Hammersmith on drums and Tony Harnell on vocals. Tickets for Skid Row 25th Anniversary Tour at The Chance with guests: Big Guns with Rachel Lorin, Everwar, and EXM are on sale and available through The Chance box office at 845-471-1966 and ticketweb.com
