What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

Saturday, August 13, 10-4: Summer Sale at Boardman Road Branch Library. The Friends of the Poughkeepsie Public Library will hold a vinyl, cd, dvd, and audiobook sale on Saturday. 50 cents for vinyl, $1 each for cd, DVD, or audiobook. Saturday, August 13, 4-7: The Jeffersonville Jems presents a concert of Americana and Jazz, along with Little Sparrow and special guest Thurman Barker on drums at the stage across from the Post Office on Main Street in Jeffersonville. Sunday, August 14, 10 am: The 21st Annual Kingston Soap Box Derby. Enjoy the parade of non-motorized kinetic sculptures as they roll down Lower Broadway. Each 'vehicle' goes down one-by-one.
