Saturday, August 25; 11-5: See the American Food Experience  During both World Wars at the Culinary Institute of America. What is the relationship between guns and butter? How did the economy play into this? What did the American public have to cook with during these stressful times? See this exhibit at the Donald and Barbara Tober Exhibit Room in the Hilton Library. Saturday, August 25; 10 am: Wurtsboro Photo Walk is a chance for photographers of all skill levels and cameras to explore Wurtsboro and its history all the while taking pictures and learning from others in the group. You can develop your creative skills, even if you are simply using your phone as your camera. The walk will begin in front of the Wurtsboro Alliance on Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Saturday, August 25; 11 am: In Her Words: A Women's History Tour at Historic Huguenot Street. You will learn about the lives and stories of several women who played a role in local history. You will tour historic buildings and hear recorded monologues along the way. Admission is $15 and $13 for members, seniors, active military, and veterans. Find more events going on in Ulster County this weekend.

Saturday, August 25; 10-9: New Windsor Community Day at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park in New Windsor. It's a day of fun for the family with free admission, parking, and all of the attractions. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. See the live bear exhibit, take a helicopter ride, try the climbing wall and laser tag area, go for a tethered balloon ride, and don't miss the escape rooms. Plus, live music, bouncy houses, a petting zoo, and fireworks to end the night. Find out more events going on this weekend in Orange County.
