Implementation & Database Specialist

The Implementation & Database Specialist position is an instrumental role in the success of the organization's strategic goals. The Implementation & Assistant Database Specialist will have two primary functions in the Information Technology Department. The first will be to administer project management oversight and in some cases act as the key driver of project implementations, and secondly, to assist in database administration and reporting. This includes and is not limited to managing automated processes between systems and data flow integrity associated with it.

Mortgage Processor

The Mortgage Processor is to not only ensure the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated by loan officers before submission to Mortgage Underwriter but to also have the ability to perform a pre-underwriting analysis of the file.

Mortgage Originations Assistant

The Mortgage Originations Assistant offers support for the Loan Originators in our Goshen loan office. They will assist in the pre-qualification and application conversion process. This would include scheduling appointments, assisting walk-in customers, assisting with closings, acting as the liaison between underwriters, realtors, customers and the originations. Qualified candidates will have 1-3 years of mortgage experience, excellent computer and communication skills, detail-oriented, and a licensed notary.

Part-Time Sales Assistant/Trainee

The Part-Time Sales Assistant/Trainee is to provide administrative and customer support to the Bank’s Payroll, Insurance, and Financial Services groups. They will follow-up with customers, set up new payrolls, complete paperwork, and process sales leads. Will train and support the right individual to become a licensed P&C insurance agent. The potential to earn commissions once licensed.

Facilities Representative

The Facilities Representative is to complete daily maintenance tasks including janitorial services, snow removal, courier runs, light construction projects, ground maintenance, supply delivery, working with outside contractors, and performing various security procedures for our Kingston location.

Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Coordinator

The Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all steps in the foreclosure and bankruptcy process are completed accurately and timely. Candidates should have knowledge of collections, foreclosure and bankruptcy processes as well as legal processes and legal “jargon”. Must possess excellent computer, communication, organization and problems solving skills; and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle a large volume of files. In addition, candidates should be self-motivated and be able to work independently and with a team. This includes the ability to cross train and support other team members.

Mortgage Closer and Title Insurance Processor

The Mortgage Closer and Title Insurance Processor should have an understanding of the title search process and the ability to review documents in a Title search in order to prepare Title Commitment. Duties include reviewing Abstracts of Title, prepare a proposed Issued Title Commitment, mark up Title Commitments at closing, and review final Title Commitments. Other duties include representing Ulster Savings at the closing, completing Loan Summary Statement, disburse all checks and perform a post-closing review. Strong organizational, time management, and computer skills are essential. Should possess strong written and oral communication skills. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and have the ability to travel in all weather conditions.

Residential Mortgage Specialist

Ulster Savings is currently seeking highly motivated Residential Mortgage Loan Specialists/Originators in Orange and Dutchess counties. Join our exciting and growing sales team. You will be working within our communities to help borrowers through the mortgage process. Mortgage sales experience is required along with current valid NMLS registration and valid NYS driver’s license. Bilingual is preferred.

Title Insurance Coordinator/Mortgage Closer

The Title Insurance Coordinator/Mortgage Closer will review and receive title insurance orders and attend Ulster Savings mortgage closings. In addition, the position entails monitoring the closing schedule and preparing title agency files for closing and finalize files after closing. Other duties included monthly billings, monthly reconcilements and quality control of closed files. Strong organizational, time management, and computer skills are essential. Should possess strong written and oral communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel in all weather conditions. Should have a general understanding of the title/legal process and real property tax lien dates.

Tellers

We are currently seeking professional, highly-motivated, service-oriented individuals to fill Part-Time, Full-Time, and Float Teller positions. Tellers are responsible for performing routine branch and customer service duties; accepting retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processing loan payments; cashing checks and making savings withdrawals; promoting business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, excellent math and organizational skills; the ability to listen, understand, and respond to requests; and the ability to travel throughout Ulster, Dutchess, and Orange counties. Float tellers are assigned to branches as needed and require flexible schedules including possible Saturday hours.

Hours vary for the Part-Time and Float Teller positions and will include Saturday hours of 8:45 am to 2:15 pm.
