Ulster County Italian Festival This Weekend in Kingston

The all new Ulster County Italian Festival will be taking place this Sunday (Oct. 11) at The Strand (Kingston Waterfront) from Noon-8pm. The event will feature Italian music, entertainment, specialty food, desserts and pastries, beer and wine. Face painting and art projects for kids will be provided. Admission is free for all ages.

I'm really looking forward to this event, as I have been spending a lot of time as of late on the Kingston Rondout. There's so much to do in that area and it's always busy. Whether it's going for a walk and checking out the boats docked nearby, or hitting up some of the various restaurants and bars. Mariner's, Savona's, Dermot Mahoney's are all down there, along with one of my favorite new spots, Ole Savannah.
