Traffic Alert: I-84 at a Standstill Friday Afternoon

The Friday evening commute is not to pretty for motorists.

An accident on the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge has traffic backed up 3 miles eastbound on I-84. Traffic westbound is even worse leading up to the bridge, it's backed up 7 miles.

Traffic on Route 9D southbound is backed up 3 miles leading to the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge.

According to Andrian Watson, WPDH Traffic Reporter, the New York State Thruway northbound is also backed up 6 miles.

There are also delays on the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge as well.
