The good news is that the weekend is finally here. The bad news is that there were a few concert tour cancellations and changes and not for happy reasons. Let's start with Metallica.

This has not had an effect on any local dates, but Metallica had to call off their shows in Australia and New Zealand because frontman James Hetfield has entered rehab. He's has problems in the past, and it looks like they've come back to haunt him. We wich James a quick and easy recovery.

Mott The Hoople 74 had to cancel their tour. We tell you why and who is affected in this week's rock news. Get the details by clicking on the rock news link below. And Lou Gramm is not going to be able to make those Foreigner reunion shows. You can get more info by listening to this week's rock news.

There is some good news this week. It has to do with an awesome Jimi Hendrix box set that's coming out soon. Get all the details by listening to this week's rock news below.
