State Police Arrest Upstate NY Middle School Student
New York State police have arrested an upstate middle school student.
State police have announced the arrest of a juvenile male, 11, from Medusa, NY for acts that if committed an adult would be Attempted Arson in the Second Degree, a Class C Felony, according to a Press Release.
State police were contacted by the school administration a Greenville Central School, and assisted in the investigation , and helped identify a potential student involved in a fire which occurred during school hours on Monday.
The investigation revealed that the juvenile attempted to start a fire in a bathroom at the Greenville School District, Middle School wing.
The juvenile was released to his parents and issued a Family Court appearance ticket.
