Update: The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Ulster County until 10:30 tonight.  These storms are packing winds up to 70 mph and damage to roofs, trees, and out buildings is expected. Please take cover inside during these storms.

It's actually warmer now than it has been all day and Mother Nature is kicking up her heels this evening, which means that the Hudson Valley could see some thunderstorms up until around midnight tonight.

This line of storms have caused severe thunderstorm warnings, tornado watches, hail, gusting winds, and caused scattered power outages as it moved through Pennsylvania this afternoon and this evening, and now it's knocking on our door.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, and Columbia counties until midnight tonight. These storms could bring wind gusts up to 60 MPH, damaging hail, and torrential rainfall.

We'll keep an eye on this throughout the evening and update this post when necessary.

Should any of these storms impact you, you can report hail size, any damaging winds, and downed trees to the National Weather Service on Facebook or Twitter. You can also share your pictures here. Stay safe tonight.
