The Ruby Fire Department will be holding a breakfast fundraiser this Sunday to help friend and neighbor, Town of Ulster Police Chief Anthony Cruise.  Cruise had to retire last month to concentrate on his health, and the fight for his life.  Cruise is battling cancer.

The fundraiser breakfast will be this Sunday from 8am-noon at 1214 Main Street, Ruby, N.Y. in Ulster County.  Cruise, who has been chief since 2012, began his law enforcement career in 1988 as an officer at the Ulster County Jail and was a sheriff’s deputy from 1989 until 1992, when he joined the Town of Ulster Police Department.

This breakfast will be a great way to help out with all the medical expenses not covered by insurance.  It is the holiday season, and nothing feels better than to be able to give to those less fortunate, especially somebody who is fighting for life.  For more info, contact The Ruby Fire Department at (845) 336-6827.
