Ronald McDonald Laying Low, Thanks to Creepy Clown Crisis

The mascot of McDonald's, Ronald McDonald is apparently keeping a low profile until people like clowns again. 

Over the past few weeks, there have been many sightings of creepy clowns all over the country. The Hudson Valley was affected by the clown craze, from clowns being spotted on bridges with firearms to clown related threats being made against schools.

It has gotten to the point where some schools and communities want clown costumes banned from Halloween. So, with all of this going on Ronald McDonald isn't taking any chances. you will see less of the familiar, friendly clown at McDonald's events, until this clown craze passes.

Maybe it's time Ronald McDonald to step back from his spokesman duties and give somebody else a chance to shine. He's had a good run, but I think he's being greedy at this point! Pass the torch already man! My vote is for the Hamburglar!
