Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro encourages residents and visitors to support our local community by participating in Small Business Saturday.

This Saturday (11/25) is Small Business Saturday, which is a national event held annually the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

The movement is dedicated to supporting the local businesses that help give our neighborhoods character and make our home special.

County Executive Molinaro said:

Dutchess County is home to many notable locally made products, as well as eateries, artisans, and recreational assets, showcasing what makes us ‘Distinctly Dutchess.’ By supporting our local businesses on Small Business Saturday and throughout the year, we not only help our economy thrive but our community as a whole benefits from the investment made by residents and visitors.  Our Th!nk Dutchess Alliance for Business works closely with small businesses throughout our community.   These businesses are the heart of our community and the backbone of our economy.   When shopping for gifts for your family and friends this holiday season, be sure to ‘Shop Small’ and ‘Think Dutchess’ to take advantage of the variety of unique offerings available at local businesses close to home
