Watch as a Hudson Valley graduate tells Shark Tank to keep its $2 Million offer.

Patrick Ambron appeared on Shark Tank in hopes of getting a $2 million investment in exchange for 13.5 percent of his company, BrandYourself. The company allows users to manage what shows up when someone does an online search for their name.

The "Sharks" were reluctant to accept the company's $15 valuation even though BrandYourself has seen some huge growth. In its first year, the company's sales grew from $400,000 to $800,000. Right now, it's on track to bring in $2 million in it's third year.

After everyone else in the Shark Tank bowed out, one investor, Robert Herjavec, remained very interested in the company. Herjavec has a background in Internet security and believes that there is a huge demand for a business like BrandYourself.

Ambron was eager to make a deal, but Herjavec would only invest the $2 Million in exchange for 20 percent of the company instead of the 13.5 percent that was originally offered. In the end, Ambron had to turn down the offer out of respect for previous investors who bought into the company at the original valuation.
