A Bronx woman has been charged with using counterfeit money in the town of Ulster. 

Police arrived at the CVS, in the Town of Ulster to investigate, but the woman had already left the store. Police were given a description of the vehicle and made a traffic stop a short time later, as reported by The Record.

After making the stop and investigating, Bianca K. Parrales, 18, of the Bronx was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, which is a felony.

The man driving the vehicle, Timothy Ransom, 25, of the Bronx, was also arrested for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, after police discovered his license was suspended.

As for Bianca Parrales, she was arraigned and sent to Ulster County Jail on $5,000 bail or $7,500 bond pending further court action. The driver was released with a ticket to appear back in court.
