An Ulster County woman is facing endangerment charges following an arrest at a local high school. 

On Monday October 2, Saugerties Police School Resource Officer (SRO) arrested an 18-year old female Savannah E. Herdman of Saugerties.

Herdman was observed by the SRO, smoking marijuana while seated behind the wheel of her car in the student parking lot of the high school.

She was also observed passing her marijuana pipe to a 15-year old female (student), who was also sitting in the car.

Police also seized a marijuana grinder with marijuana in it.

Herdman was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

She was processed at police headquarters and released on appearance tickets.

The 15-year old was turned over to her parents.
