Following an investigation into a domestic dispute, a Dutchess County man is facing charges for aggravated sexual abuse.

On July 12, Town of Poughkeepsie police followed up on a complaint of a past domestic dispute that reportedly occurred on May 31. The investigation led police to identify 37-year-old Thomas Angell of the Town of Poughkeepsie as the suspect, police say.

On Thursday, after a further investigation, Angell was charged with aggravated sexual abuse, a felony. Police didn’t go into more details regarding the sexual abuse charge.

Angell was remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond bail.
