Parts of I-95 Were Shut Down After Beer Truck Hits Frito-Lay Truck
All they needed was a giant TV to watch the game.
First Coast News says that southbound traffic on I-95 near Melbourne, Florida was shut down for almost four hours after two trucks collided early Wednesday. It's the cargo the trucks were carrying that everyone is talking about.
One of the trucks was carrying beer, the other was carrying chips.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that a semi-tractor trailer carrying Busch Beer was traveling south in the right lane when the driver attempted to pull into the center lane but swerved back to avoid another vehicle. The Busch truck ended up slamming into the back of a Frito Lay truck that had stopped on the right shoulder.
The crash sent beer and chips spilling out all over the highway.
Good news is that neither of the drivers seriously hurt.
