Open Mic at Darkside Records

Are you a performer who wants to share your talent? Or a dancer or a poet? How about a musician who wants to connect with other musicians? Either way, you will want to head to Darkside Records on Dutchess Turnpike in Poughkeepsie this Sunday for open mic. In fact, they do open mic at Darkside every third Sunday of the month.

Darkside Record's open mic is a free event is open to performers of all kinds. Singers, poets, dancers, comedians, magicians,whatever your talent is, come and share it on Darkside's brand new stage. And walk ins are always welcome.  Sorry, but there are no full bands allowed to perform at these open mics.

You can sign-up until 4:30 pm, and performances start at 4:30. There will even be a table set aside for local performers and bands to sell or promote their goods. Not only is this a great way to show off your special talent, it is also a great way to support local performers and the local music scene.
