New Peter Wolf and a Treat for Skynyrd Fans

It is another Friday of new music releases, and there are some pretty good ones out today.  Especially considering that Record Store Day 2016 is just over a week away.  You would think this might be a light week of releases, but you won't be disappointed.

Fans of The J. Geils Band and Peter Wolf will be happy to find a new Peter Wolf solo album available today.  I love Peter with J. Geils, but I also love his solo albums.  I can't wait to hear this new one.  Are you a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan?  There is a live DVD out today that captures two of their best albums.  You can also get your hands on a live Motorhead DVD from 2011.  Deep Purple fans and Zakk Wylde fan also have some new stuff to listen to this weekend.

April 16 is Record Store Day, and there will be tons of releases.  Don't forget to go out and celebrate your favorite local independent record store.  Here are today's releases.
