My Lost Treasure: Grateful Dead Day 1

The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is a letter theme that was inspired by the Letter Game that we play on The Boris and Robyn Show. We're playing a week of songs starting with each letter of the alphabet. We are currently on the U songs. And I'm wrapping them up with two from The Grateful Dead.

I think today's lost treasure was one of the first songs I ever heard from The Dead. And I fell in love with it. The melody, the vocals. I just loved it. And when I hear it today, I still occasionally get goosebumps just remembering the old days. Skipping school, hanging out on the side street near Newburgh Free Academy, causing trouble and listening to jimmy Corbett's Workingman's Dead 8 track. Sigh. Those were the days.
