A fired employee took his frustrations out on his work uniform by allegedly setting it on fire.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Timothy Alejandro Ortiz, who, according to a report from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, walked out of a Palencia, FL Burger King restaurant and torched his hat and work shirt.

According to the company, terminated employees are required to return those items to management. This didn't stop Ortiz as he allegedly left the burning items on the ground.

The report says Ortiz got into “several arguments with the managers and customers who saw what happened and called the Sheriff’s Office.".

Staugustine.com reports that police later found Ortiz at his home.

After yelling at a deputy, police attempted to handcuff Ortiz but he continued to resist. The deputy unsuccessfully fired his stun gun but the probes did not stick.

The deputy reloaded and went to fire again, however Ortiz finally came to his senses and allowed himself to be handcuffed.

Ortiz was booked into the St. Johns County jail on charges of damage to property, resisting an officer without violence and disorderly conduct.
