A television station had to be evacuated around 2 p.m. Thursday after a man in a panda suit walked into the lobby and threatened to blow the place up.

An unidentified man dressed in a bulky panda suit and wearing a surgical mask had already set his own car on fire when he entered Fox 45 in Baltimore, Maryland. WJLA reports that witnesses say that the man demanded that the station broadcast some sort of information he had stored on a thumb drive he was carrying or else he'd blow the building up.

The Ny Daily News says that police arrived and appeared to have fired several shots at the costumed suspect.

According to WBFF-TV News Director Mike Tomko, the individual has made threats at the station before. Tomko claims the man said he had information on something related to the Panama Papers.

This video appears to show the suspect being shot by police.
