Joey "Jaws" Chestnut regained the Yellow Mustard International Belt on Monday at the annual July 4th hot dog eating contest at Nathan's Famous in Coney Island.

Chestnut, 32, demolished 70 hot dogs in 10 minutes - which is the most ever eaten at the competition. Chestnut beat his own previous world record of 69 hot dogs, during his 2013 competition.

According to contest officials, Chestnut set a new record last month when he ate 73 hot dogs and buns during a qualifying event.

Chestnut had his eight year winning streak ended last year when he lost to Matt "The Megatoad" Stonie.

Chestnut made sure Stonie would not best him again, beating him by 17 hot dogs and buns. Stonie was not disappointed by the loss saying Chestnut did an amazing job.
