Make This Culinary Institute Chocolate Mousse in Minutes
With just two ingredients and a few minutes of your time you can make an incredibly romantic chocolate mousse that looks like you spent hours in the kitchen.
Chef Kristen Egan from the Culinary Institute of America dropped by our studios right before Valentine's day to share a secret recipe for guys (or girls) with very little baking talent.
Chocolate Mousse is a pretty difficult thing to make. You need to whip egg yolks with sugar at just the right consistency, adding in the melted chocolate at the proper temperature using water bath. It's not something for the casual baker.
Chef Egan shared with us what she calls "Bachelor's Mousse." With just two ingredients that you probably already have in your house you can make a decadent, romantic dessert in just minutes.
If you decide to try this recipe for yourself on Valentine's Day, we'd love to see the results. You can share photos and reviews on our Facebook page or in the comments section below.
