Ulster County, NY Residents Celebrate Opening Of New Bakery
This quaint hamlet within Ulster County has a lot of natural beauty with hiking trails, locally owned eateries and more. We can now visit a new bakery that has opened. Brooklyn Sour also known as Bklyn Sour shared their backstory on their website.
They are located at 1219 Route 213 in High Falls, NY. They included,
“What began as a small home sourdough bakery is becoming a space to gather-good bread, good coffee, and real connection”
In November 2025, they were posting pictures on social media of the construction of their business. In December 2025, Brooklyn Sour was inviting the community to stop by to take a look at their progress and to grab some of their yummy food.
Fast forward to May 2026, we can now visit them in their new space!
When Can We Visit Brooklyn Sour In High Falls, NY?
On Brooklyn Sour’s Instagram, they were updating the community on their hours. They shared that they will have their bread and bakery items on Saturdays and Sundays. On Fridays, Brooklyn Sour will have drinks, baked goods and retail available.
Their hours are from 8am until 2pm.

I love going to bakeries and cafes in the Hudson Valley. It’s great to support local businesses, grab some tea, croissant and sweet treat!
The Hudson Valley community shared their excitement about Brooklyn Sour opening in the area. They were impressed by their banana bread tiramisu, yum! Social media users also commented that they enjoyed their fig cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies and how everything was delicious.
