Popular Hudson Valley Bakery Announces Closing After 7 Years

A beloved "small town" Hudson Valley bakery has announced it will be closing its doors soon.

One of Dutchess County's favorite places for breakfast sandwiches, coffee, cookies, pastries, and cakes has announced its plan to close its doors for good after nearly seven years.

When Annabelle's opened at 7501 North Broadway, Red Hook, NY, it quickly became not only one of Red Hook's favorite places for everything sweet, but it also became a place for warmth, laughter, and a place that created cherished memories for the residents of the wonderful small town of Red Hook.

Red Hook Bake Shop Closing

After seven years it appears that Annabelle's will be closing as they have announced the future closing of the bake shop on its Facebook page saying, "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the (future) closing of our beloved bakery."

The post explained some of the reasons behind their decision to close saying,

"We have tried so hard to stay open as long as we could, making many personal sacrifices along the way. However, with the rising cost of our everyday products and significant increase in bills, combined with the realization that our grandchildren aren’t little for long, we have come to the difficult decision to close the doors to Annabelle’s."

 

When Are They Closing?

Owners are planning to close the bake shop for good on September 30th, 20024 but until then they will be open at select times and days throughout the week. The hours of operation listed on their Facebook page state they are open Wednesdays through Sundays 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. For more information, you can contact them at (845) 835-6071.
