International Women’s Day on The Walkway Over The Hudson

Tomorrow, March 5, the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Women's Leadership Alliance will celebrate women all over the world, and you are invited to join in the celebration.  The celebration will take place on The Walkway Over The Hudson, eastern side. Registration begins at 9am at the east entrance of The Walkway.  The program begins at 9:30am, and the walk across the bridge begins at 10:15.

International Women’s Day is both a celebration of women around the world, and an opportunity to educate people about the plight of women in other countries. There will be inspirational speeches, shared stories and a walk together in solidarity. The Evergreens Chorus will be singing on the Highland side at 10:30am.  This year's theme is Fit Women Make Fit Leaders.
