Hudson Valley Woman Arrested for Entering Correctional Facility With Drugs
Another Hudson Valley woman has been arrested for attempting to smuggle drugs into Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill.
Over the last year I have covered a lot of stories involving woman being arrested for trying to smuggle drugs or other contraband in jails, prisons, and correctional facilities. Though, they always get caught it doesn't seem to stop them from trying.
Next on the list is Victoria R. Nobile, age 24, of Poughkeepsie, NY. She was arrested and charged with promoting prison contraband in the second-degree, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
An investigation revealed that Nobile brought marijuana and synthetic marijuana into the facility with the intent to provide it to an inmate, according to a press release. Nobile was arrested and released with an appearance ticket.
Downstate Correctional Facility is no stranger to catching women who are trying to smuggle drugs into their facility. Back in September, a Newburgh woman was arrested after trying to smuggle prescription pills in.
In July, a NYC woman was arrested after she attempted to enter the facility with a controlled substance.
Kudos to the staff at the Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill for keeping drugs out of their site.
