A woman from New York City was arrested after she allegedly entered downstate Correctional facility while in possession of drugs. 

Tatiana McLaughlin, 25, of New York, NY was arrested July 6 for Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, and Promoting Prison Contraband in the 2nd Degree.

McLaughlin entered the facility to visit an inmate, was found in possession of suboxone and synthetic marijuana, New York State Police said.

McLaughlin was arraigned in Town of Fishkill court and she was remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail, $2,000 bond. She is due back in court on July 20.
