Fill up the car with gas, grab some hot coco and get the family buckled in. We're going on a road trip!

This time of year when the sun goes down instead of your summer bonfires or going to the drive in, families throughout the Hudson Valley will be driving slowly through different neighborhoods enjoying some fantastic Christmas displays.

OnlyinYourState.Com came up with a road trip map of some of the bigger and brighter Christmas light displays across the state. One of our many locations here in the Hudson Valley made the list.

A Frosty Fest in Ulster Park is a staple here in the H.V. it's also the home of the Haunted Hayride during the month of October, so you know their decorating skills are on point.

While a Frosty Fest is a go to for Christmas lights, there are a few more in our neck of the woods that Onlyinyourstate.com forgot.

How could they leave out the Sussin Family Christmas Light Show? Last year the Sussin family was featured The Great Christmas Light Fight on ABC. They didn't win, but that hasn't stopped the Hudson Valley from driving through the Saugerties display. Check them out at 123 Patch Road in Sauguerties from 5pm until 10pm daily.

They also left out ERDAJT. The LaGrangeville home is decked out with thousands of lights and even broke records in the Guinness World Record Book. Each night they have a different playlist that the lights will twinkle to. ERDAJT is located at 8 Patrick Drive, LaGrangeville and they'll be collecting donations for various charities. So far they have raised $316,498.

Where is your favorite Christmas light display in the Hudson Valley?
