If there is a group of men and woman that deserve to be thanked and honored, I think we can all agree that group is our veterans. This Sunday, you will have the chance to do just that in Walden.

The Walden Community Council and the Walden Veterans Memorial Park Committee will hold their Veterans Day and 2016 Brick Dedication Ceremony this Sunday, Nov. 6, at Walden Veterans Memorial Park, 150 West Main Street, at 1 pm.  The ceremony is held to honor the men and women of the United States Military.   A free shuttle bus will provide transportation from the Municipal Parking Lot on Oak Street to Walden Veterans Memorial Park and back. Access to West Main Street from the parking lot is about 2 blocks walking distance from the Park.

There will be refreshments served at the VFW Post, 4-8 Oak Street immediately following the ceremony.  For more information about Sunday's ceremony, visit https://www.facebook.com/events/674883176003229/?active_tab=discussion
