Friday, October 28: Rock Birthdays

Happy Birthday today (Oct. 28)  to Monster Magnet frontman Dave Wynford (60) and Four By Fate bassist John Regan (65).

Dave Wyndorf is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the band Monster Magnet. The band formed out of Red Bank, NJ in 1989 and and a major rock radio hit with "Space Lord" from their 1998 breakthrough album Powertrip. The success would lead to tours with bands like Aerosmith, Metallica, Rob Zombie, and Marilyn Manson.

John Regan is the bassist for the band Four By Fate and former bassist for Peter Frampton and Frehley's Comet. He's also recorded and performed with The Rolling Stones, Billy Idol, David Lee Roth and many others. Four By Fate feature's John on bass along with his former Frehley's Comet bandmate Tod Howarth on guitar and along with drummer Rob Affuso (ex Skid Row) on drums and Patrick James (Pound, Flywheel) on guitar. The band released their debut album Relentless was released in June of 2016.
