Have you ever been to Opus 40 in Saugerties? I have and I can tell you that it's pretty amazing. Opus 40 is actually a huge environmental sculpture done by one man, artist Harvey Fite. Fite worked on the sculpture for almost 40 years before he died while working on it. Want to learn more and see it for yourself?

Opus 40, 50 Fite Road in Saugerties, will be holding a free Community Day on Saturday, May 18, from 10:30 am - 5:30 pm. It will be a day of music, food, nature and community. Music from Max's New Hat, delicious food from Farmers & Chefs Food Truck, a selection of local craft beers from the Dutch Ale House with beer pours starting at noon, chair massage from Woodstock Healing Arts, kids games and more.

Don't pass up the opportunity to see this awesome piece of art for free. For more information about the Free Community Day at Opus 40, visit the event facebook page or the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce website.
