Dutchess County Man Charged With Rape

A Pleasant Valley man was arrested and charged with rape following an investigation. 

On Saturday May 13th, 2017, State Troopers received a report that an alleged sexual assault occurred in the Town of Pleasant Valley.

An investigation revealed that Travis Bathrick, 22, of Pleasant Valley engaged in a sexual relationship with a female victim who was under the age of 15.

Bathrick was charged with Rape second-degree, and Criminal Sexual Act second-degree, both Class D Felonies.

Bathrick was arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

Bathrick is schedule to appear back in court later this week.
