Driving Lesson Ends With The Evacuation of 12 Apartments

A New Jersey teenager caused 12 apartments to be evacuated, during a driving lesson with her father. 

The 16-year old, who just received her learner's permit, was getting a driving lesson from her father. While driving, she hit the accelerator instead of the brake, and crashed into an apartment building, hitting three gas meters, as reported by CBS 6.

Hitting the three gas meter caused a natural gas leak, which led to the evacuation of 12 apartments.

Nobody was injured in the crash, and residents are expected to be back in their apartments by late Friday.
