First of all, Happy New Year! I hope you had a terrific holiday season surrounded by people and things that you care about. For me, I feel like it went by so quickly. It felt like there was always so much to do and so much running around that I only had a few moments to really cherish it. However, when I could sit back and take it all in, I felt very blessed for all the people and experiences in my life.

As for my first article of the new year, I figured I start with a topic that most of y'all seem to love: restaurant rankings. And not just any kind of restaurants, but delis in particular. I love delis. My first meal of the new year was an egg and cheese with salt, pepper, and ketchup from K & D Deli in Hyde Park. Always a weekend staple of mine.
