Chicago Cubs Legend Ernie Banks Has Passed Away at 83

Legendary Cubs player Ernie Banks, Aka "Mr.Cub" has passed away at the age of 83.

As authorized by Banks' widow, attourney Mark Bogen broke the news to the media, according to CBS Chicago.

Banks was an infielder, who spent his entire career with the Chicago Cubs, from 1951-1971. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977.

Banks would have celebrated his 84th birthday on Jan.31.
