Adoptable Pups Take to the Canvas to Create a Furry Art Exhibit
Furry friends make our lives so special. Pets can improve our happiness, lower stress and make us calmer. Even volunteering our time with animals can be fulfilling, helping them get a fur-ever home.
The power of art is astonishing; it can positively impact our emotions and mood. We can speak through art and express ourselves by creating our very own masterpiece.
What happens we combine our fur friends and art? We’ll find out here in Orange County as adoptable pups take to the canvas and show us how gifted they truly are.
Join the collaboration between The Walden Humane Society and The Wallkill River School, and see the unique, art creations made by the adoptable dogs. Mary Zoutis, the staff and volunteers of The Walden Humane Society are making it possible for these fur friends to create paintings with their tails and paws (I can’t wait to see this!).
Starting March 2nd through April 29th, the furry art show will be displayed. On March 7th from 5pm to 7pm, artists, pet lovers and the community are certainly welcomed to join the reception. You’ll have the pleasure of meeting not only the pups but also the hardworking volunteers and staff behind the scene.
The dog art will be on display at the exhibit with an adoption event later.
On April 5th, from 12pm to 2 pm, there will be an adoptable event of the talented furry artists. The adoption event is free and open to all guests encouraging folks to help find everlasting, loving homes for the artist pups.
