Remember back in March when everyone was saying they couldn't wait for summer? Well, it appears you'll get your wish.

After a very comfortable Thursday afternoon, meteorologists are saying the Hudson Valley and Northeast could see it's first 90 degree day by Father's Day Sunday. Temperatures are expected to climb to near 90 by Sunday with high humidity, making for a sweltering afternoon if you're planning on being outside.

And that's just the start. Temps Monday could climb to the mid to upper 90s. Heat Index values could reach 100 to 105 F degrees.

There is a chance for scattered thunderstorms both Sunday and Monday night which could cool us off briefly. The mercury should fall a bit Tuesday, with highs once again in the 80s.

Dress light, avoid too much time outdoors if you can, and be sure to drink plenty of fluids.
