53rd Annual Barbecue This Saturday in West Park

It is a day for the whole family, and it's happening this Saturday, Sept. 17.  It's the 53rd Annual Barbecue at Ascension Church Route 9W in West Park.  This is more than just a barbecue.  It's a bazaar, a book sale, and so much more.

The bazaar and vendor shopping kicks off at 10 am.  Vendor shopping includes household goods, furniture and clothing.  And everybody who brings a non perishable food item to donate to the Mission Center gets a free book from the book sale. There will be a lunch of burgers & hot dogs available from 11 am to 1 pm.  And Elia's Catering Company of Highland will be serving their delicious BBQ Dinner of 1/4 chicken, pulled pork, corn on the cob, baked potato, dinner roll and iced tea, lemonade or water from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm all prepared by local chef Mark Elia of Elia's Catering Company.
