On this St.Patrick's weekend we could not go without hearing live in concert from U2, Van Morrison, and The Who on Sunday night March 17th at 10pm.  You can listen on the WPDH app.

U2, Van Morrison well they are from Ireland but The Who?  I know what you are saying "they are from the Union Jack!"  Yes they are from Britain but on this show The Who get help from The Chieftains who are from Dublin, Ireland.  The performance was in honor of Pete Townshend at Carnegie Hall in New York in February of 1994.  Other artists who came to celebrate Pete that night were his bandmates Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle plus Eddie Vedder, Sinead O'Connor, Lou Reed, David Sanborn, Linda Perry of the 4 Non Blondes, and Alice Cooper.

Van Morrison gets some help as well with Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters accompanying him on "Comfortably Numb". Plus we left out a special artist who will begin the show with something being shipped to Boston?  Tune in and find out if you haven't figured it out already.
