WPDH Album of the Week: The Police ‘Zenyatta Mondatta’
Tune in for the WPDH Album of the Week this Sunday at 11PM. We’ll be bringing you The Police 'Zenyatta Mondatta' in it's entirety, start to finish.
The third studio album by The Police, Zenyatta Mondatta, was released in 1980 and features the two hit singles "Don't Stand So Close to Me" and "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da". The album went to number 1 in Australia and the U.K., and spent nearly three years on the charts in the U.S. peaking at number 5. David Fricke of Rolling Stone described the album as "near-perfect pop by a band that bends all the rules and sometimes makes musical mountains out of molehill-size ideas."
WPDH Album of the Week is presented by Kingston Nissan, Real People Real Deals, at Kingstonnissan.net
