What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

The holiday season is in full swing in the Hudson Valley and there are lots of holiday activities going on throughout our area this weekend. Here are a few suggestions with links to find even more. Have a great weekend.

Saturday, December 10; 9-5: FDR Home for the Holidays. Come see Franklin D. Roosevelt's Home all decorated for the holidays in the style of his day. Refreshments will be served and admission is free! Parking is limited, so car pooling would be a great idea. A Holiday Open House will also be held at Val-Kill from 4-7 on Saturday, but no parking will be available on-site, a shuttle bus will run from the Wallace Welcome Center at the FDR site. To find other events going on in Dutchess County this weekend,click here.

Saturday, December 10 through Saturday, December 31; 11-6: Holiday Trains on Main, in Livingston Manor. See amazing model trains and real, historical artifacts on display at the Catskill Arts Center and other businesses around the area. To find other events going on in Sullivan County this weekend, click here.

Friday, December 9-Sunday, December 11; 6-9 on Friday and 11-4 on Saturday and Sunday: 3rd Annual Historic Ulster County in Gingerbread. See the creative and amazing displays of historical buildings all made out of gingerbread at the Ulster County Historical Society on Route 209 in Kingston.
