What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

Spring officially begins this Sunday, so get out and celebrate the end of winter and the start of a new season with some fun events for the whole family.

Saturday, March 19, 10-6: Cookie Festival in Millerton. It will be a sweet Saturday as Millerton merchants will have trays of cookies in their stores, free for the tasting. It's all to celebrate the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring.

Saturday, March 19, 10:30 -12: Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Delaware Youth Center, 8 Creamery Rd. in Callicoon. Lots of fun activities, plus get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny.

Saturday, March 19, 8 pm: 33rd Annual Festival of Dance at UPAC. This is an exciting celebration of dance, with performances featuring various styles of dance & top notch dance companies, showcasing choreographers & dancers. Produced by the Ulster Ballet Company.  Tickets are $22 for Adults, $18 for Seniors and UPAC/Bardavon members, $15 for Children 12 and under and groups of 10 or more.

Saturday, March 19, 10-11: Walden Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your basket and have fun with your family and friends, meet the Easter Bunny, plus there will prizes for 2 children in each age group who find the golden egg. The age groups will be 0-4 years, 5-7 years and 8-11 years.
