Saturday, December 24 through Hanukkah: There will be Menorah lightings, Hanukkah songs, hot latkes, cider, doughnuts, and dreidels at several locations throughout Dutchess County including the Walkway Over the Hudson, Civic Center Plaza in Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park Town Hall, Poughkeepsie Galleria, Millbrook, Fishkill, and Wappingers Falls. Now through Saturday, December 31; 11-6: Holiday Trains on Main, in Livingston Manor. See amazing model trains and real, historical artifacts on display at the Catskill Arts Center and other businesses around the area. To find other events going on in Sullivan County this weekend, click here.
Now through Wednesday, December 28, times vary: The Polar Express is in Kingston. This is an officially licensed train ride, inspired by the movie and run by the Catskill Mountain Railroad until December 28. See your favorite characters come to life.
