Coming back to work after a two week vacation is never easy. Especially if it was a relaxing and care free vacation. Even if you love your job, which I do, it's hard getting back into the work routine. So I have decided to think about the fun things still to come this summer.

First of all, the Dutchess County Fair. It's always a great time. We get to meet listeners which is really cool. Plus, all the attractions, fair food, the famous 4H milkshakes, great live music and more. This year the fair is Aug. 21 - 26. And The Wallflowers will be in the Grandstand on opening night. Sounds like a fun week!

I also look forward to raising money for Alex's lemonade Stand. This is a great charity that offers support to families dealing with childhood cancer. We've already raised a ton of money, and we're hoping to have our best year ever. Want to help? Click here.

We also have the WPDH Summer Concert to look forward to. That's happening Sept. 2 at Bethel Woods. Deep Purple and Judas Priest. Now that is going to be one rocking show to close out the summer.

All in all, it's good to be back. I'll miss sleeping in til 7 am, but it is great to be back on the air. As always, thanks for listening!
